Our company goes back to 1997, when two physicians and an engineer got together as partners to start making medical aesthetics equipment, in Madrid, Spain.

Back then, the first laser hair removal equipments were just coming out; these technologies, besides being dangerous for patients due to burns, were very painful. Based on this, further research was carried out on the use of Xenon lamps to heat hair follicles. A few years later, in 2002, after all the corresponding research and authorizations, the first IPL hair removal equipment was launched by our company. However, it was very hard to enter the market, due to a wrong popular assumption: “No pain, no gain”.

It took many more years to become the number one company in IPL hair removal.
